Parent-School Compact
2025/2026
Mayfield Elementary School is a result of families and school staff working together to ensure that those children are successful in school. Parent-School Involvement is a partnership firmly united to involve the parent, school, and students.
Parent/Guardian
I want my child to achieve; therefore, I will encourage my child by doing the following:
● See that my child attends school regularly and on time.
● Support school staff in maintaining proper discipline.
● Set aside a specific time for homework and review it regularly.
● Stay interested in and aware of what my child is learning.
● Read with my child and let my child see me read regularly.
● Communicate with my child’s teacher on a regular basis.
Student
It is important that I work to the best of my ability; therefore, I will strive to do the following:
● Attend school regularly.
● Pay attention and stay out of trouble.
● Work cooperatively with my classmates.
● Do better than last year.
● Do my best and work harder, play less.
● Be a positive influence on others. (Don’t Discourage)
● Help others with disabilities.
● Tutor others with troubling subjects.
● Follow the rules.

● Hold expectations high for all students, believing that all students can learn.
● Make my classroom and myself accessible to parents, encouraging them to get involved in their child’s education and initiate teamwork.
